If you use more than one type of Sony Ericsson handset and only want one car kit then you will require the HCH-30 universal cradle, a HCC-30 system cable and the HCA-20 SE car kit. This setup is suitable for most Sony Ericsson handsets!

HCH-28 Cradle |
If you have a Sony Ericsson T68i bluetooth handset and require a normal car kit then you will require the HCH-28 T68i cradle, a HCC-30 system cable and the HCA-20 SE car kit. For a Bluetooth option you will require the HCB-30 car kit instead, the cradle is optional with BT.
There is no facility for an external antenna with this cradle! |

HCH-33 Cradle |
If you have a Sony Ericsson T610, T616, T618 or T630 handset you will require the HCA-20 SE car kit which already has the correct system cable for the HCH-33 cradle which is also required.

We do appreciate that not everyone is Technically minded. We do however, provide FREE technical support on any products that we supply to customers who wish to carry out the installation themselves.
N.B. You would be expected to have some technical knowledge yourself, we will not supply a complete A-Z of how to install your car kit, but we will offer assistance where appropriate should you get stuck. Please ensure you have all your vehicle and car kit details to hand when getting in touch with us and a 12 volt automotive test lamp or multimeter available for testing and configuration purposes.
If you are in any doubt about your own ability to install any of the products available from the online shop, you should always get a professional Installation company or Auto electrician to do the job for you!
If you are not a Technically minded person we do have an Installation Service .
The Sony Ericsson HCA-20 SE handsfree car phone kit is designed to be universal, requiring only the cradle and sometimes the Data lead being changed when a different Sony Ericsson handset is being used unless using a HCH-30 Universal cradle.
The SE kit covers most of the current handset range which is - A2618, K700, P800, P900, T20, T28, T29, T39, T65, T66, T68, T200, T610, T616, T618 ,T630 ,R300, R380, R520, R600, R800 and the Z600, some older handsets cradles are hard to get now and the kit does not support some of the latest generation Sony Handsets.
The basic kit itself comprises of a junction box, speaker, microphone, power loom and an adapter for an external antenna with the FME type connection (HCE-12) and the kit now also contains the HCC-20 System Cable.
The power loom itself has two extra wires this time, one being for an ignition sense capability (at last!), and radio mute. However, during installations, we have discovered that the mute wire does not always work and have had to revert to the 06-209B adaptor available from Autoleads! This is also required when using an Autoleads Cellular Telemute Interface lead for relaying the sound through the car stereo system.
It is recommended that a Dashmount or similar bracket is used as there is limited scope for adjustment on the handset cradle which is an additional item from the kit itself! Cradles for the different handsets are available separately.
There is no antenna supplied with this kit!
We can supply a large range from either our Panorama or DG Antenna section of the online shop.
*N.B.* Some handsets e.g. the T68i do not support an external antenna.
