We do appreciate that not everyone is Technically minded. We do however, provide FREE technical support on any products that we supply to customers who wish to carry out the installation themselves.
N.B. You would be expected to have some technical knowledge yourself, we will not supply a complete A-Z of how to install your car kit, but we will offer assistance where appropriate should you get stuck. Please ensure you have all your vehicle and car kit details to hand when getting in touch with us and a 12 volt automotive test lamp or multimeter available for testing and configuration purposes.
If you are in any doubt about your own ability to install any of the products available from the online shop, you should always get a professional Installation company or Auto electrician to do the job for you!
If you are not a Technically minded person we do have an Installation Service .
The Ericsson HCA-04 handsfree car phone kit covers the 'T' series Ericsson phones from the T10 to T18. It is recommended that a Dashmount or similar bracket is used to mount the handset cradle as there is limited scope for angular adjustment.
This kit also supports radio muting but requires an additional Telemute adaptor lead, the 06-201B from Autoleads to connect an Autoleads Cellular Telemute interface lead for through stereo operation.
There is no provision for an external vehicle antenna, this kit uses the phones own antenna, however, an inductive pick up adaptor is available as a separate item in order to fit an external antenna but no real reception gains are noticed in our opinion.
There is no ignition sense facility with this kit either as the phone kit is constantly powered.
