Premium Nokia CARK-91 car phone kit installed in a 2005 Volvo S40

This is a "Premium" Nokia CARK-91 handsfree car phone kit installation into a 2005 model Volvo S40 with an amplified stereo system.

The Nokia MCC-1 cradle was mounted on a Brodit Proclip bracket, due to the close proximity of the gear lever, we also used a THB AHL-10 mounting bracket to raise the cradle height slightly to clear the gear lever. This also allows us to make a really neat job of hiding the cable.

As this model had an amplified system (The amplifier is in the boot) we had to use a special Autoleads Cellular Telemute Interface lead part number 06-045B to route the audio through the car stereo system. The phones audio volume is controlled directly via the handset.

The Nokia HFM-8 mic was mounted up by the interior light and the cable neatly routed under the headlining.

A DG Flexi Tax Disc type antenna was used for a more covert installation.
