A “Premium” installation of a CARK-91 Nokia Hands Free car phone kit into a 2003 model Vauxhall Omega with a CDR2005 head unit.
The Nokia handset cradle is mounted on a Dashmount console bracket.
It is a lot neater to fit a Tax Disc antenna to this vehicle, but on this occasion, the customer lived in a poor reception area and we used a Panorama Glassmount antenna which was fitted to the nearside rear window as it was an estate car.
The customer had paid extra for the part pre-wired Vauxhall phone interface loom which enabled us to use an Autoleads 06-102RB interface lead and relay. On cars that do not have the part pre-wired loom fitted as standard we can also integrate with the stereo system using either an 06-115B or a 06-078B Autoleads Cellular Telemute interface lead. An Adaptor may be required with some car kits. The microphone was mounted centrally up by the interior light and the cable was routed away neatly beneath the headlining.
