This is a "Premium" Nokia CARK-91 handsfree car phone kit installation into a 2003 model VW Passat with a GAMMA factory fitted head unit.

The Nokia CARK-91 phone cradle was mounted on a Dashmount console bracket

It is possible to mute the stereo on this vehicle without an Autolead, but, for full “Premium” through stereo operation, a VW GAMMA Autoleads Cellular Telemute interface lead is required. There are two types, if fitting a Bluetooth kit you will require a 06-083B (Does not Display PHONE). If a Nokia CARK-91 car kit you can use the 06-105B instead.

The microphone was mounted centrally up by the interior light and the cable was routed away neatly beneath the headlining.

A Panorama flexible Tax Disc type antenna was used for a more covert installation.
