Premium THB Bury Nokia 6310i car phone kit installed in a 2001 model VW Passat

This is a "Premium" THB Bury System 8 DriveTalk handsfree car phone kit installation into a 2001 model VW Passat with a GAMMA factory fitted head unit.

The THB Bury System 8 Nokia 6310i Take & Talk cradle was mounted on a Dashmount console bracket. An AHL-10 THB extension mounting plate was also used to raise the cradle height.

An Autoleads Cellular Telemute Interface lead the 06-105B was used to route the audio through the car stereo system, the GAMMA radio displays "PHONE" during a call, as the kit was a THB Bury one we also had to use an adaptor lead the 06-200B. The phones audio volume is controlled either directly via the handset, or with the stereo or steering wheel volume controls. You may notice that we had to swap the positions of the stereo and 6 CD Changer units, this was to allow for the installation of the Telemute lead.

The THB mic was mounted up by the interior light and the cable neatly routed under the headlining.

A DG-542-F flexible Tax Disc type antenna was used for a more covert installation.
