This is a "Premium" Nokia CK-7W Bluetooth handsfree car phone kit installation into a 2005 model VW Golf mark 5 GT TDI. This car had the 10 speaker system setup installed.

The CK-7W remote control button was located to the right of the centre console after consulting the customer. This also allows us to make a really neat job of hiding the cable.

An Autoleads BMW Cellular Telemute Interface lead the 06-076B was used to route the audio through the car stereo system instead of the normal Volkswagen 06-116B. This was because the 10 speaker system setup used on this car uses a crossover unit to route the phones audio to all 10 speakers, which results in very poor audio quality, using the BMW lead routes the audio through the front two speakers only and the sound quality was excellent. Please note that using this lead on the 10 speaker setup does not allow you to control the phones audio levels via the stereo! It should be noted that a small modification had to be done to the 06-076B BMW lead, it is not "Plug and Play". The VW radio displays "PHONE" during a call, as the kit was a Newer Nokia one we also had to use an adaptor lead the 06-208B. The phones audio volume is controlled either directly via the handset or via the remote button on the CK-7W kit.

The Nokia mic was mounted up by the interior light and the cable neatly routed under the headlining.

The CK-7W car kit does not support an external antenna unless you use a cradle and antenna coupler suitable for your Pop port phone!
