We do appreciate that not everyone is Technically minded. We do however, provide FREE technical support on any products that we supply to customers who wish to carry out the installation themselves.
N.B. You would be expected to have some technical knowledge yourself, we will not supply a complete A-Z of how to install your car kit, but we will offer assistance where appropriate should you get stuck. Please ensure you have all your vehicle and car kit details to hand when getting in touch with us and a 12 volt automotive test lamp or multimeter available for testing and configuration purposes.
If you are in any doubt about your own ability to install any of the products available from the online shop, you should always get a professional Installation company or Auto electrician to do the job for you!

The Siemens HKC-520 SL55 car kit is one of the latest offerings from Siemens. We are very impressed by the build quality of these new car kits.
Nifty little phone the SL55, it slides open before being put in the cradle. The cradle has more data contact pins than normal to cover the extra features of the phone. This new connector is going to be the standard for all new Siemens handsets. The cradle comes in two parts, and as far as we know, if you change the handset you will only have to change the upper portion of the cradle.
The only phone supported by the Siemens HKC-520 car phone kit is the SL55.
A Dashmount or similar "No Holes" bracket is advised for mounting the handset cradle onto as the bracket can only be screwed into a flat surface with no angular adjustment available.
Ignition sensing and audio muting is supported as a standard feature with this car kit provided your radio supports muting. You can mute the stereo and redirect the phone kits audio through the cars stereo system with the addition of an Autoleads Cellular Telemute interface lead and a 06-206B adaptor.
This kit does NOT support an external antenna, it uses the phones own one which may cause interference issues on some head unit types.
