This is a brand new product range from Autoleads. How many of you have bought a Parrot bluetooth car kit, only to find that the standard ISO connector plugs on the Parrot Telemute lead included with the kit are different to the ones on your stereo?
The SOT-076 adaptor lead is designed to plug onto the end of your Parrot phone harness and turn it from ISO plugs to the New Audi, BMW, Skoda or VW Quadlok type plugs you require. There is no need to worry about connecting a mute wire as all the muting is done by the Parrot phone loom relay box.
This adaptor lead is suitable for ALL Parrot bluetooth handsfree car phone kits!
Will suit all BMW 1 Series, New 05> 3 Series, 01> 5 series cars with standard Factory fitted Business stereos. If the car has had an aftermarket radio such as a Sony, Kenwood or Pioneer fitted, you will not require an SOT adaptor lead. Not suitable for Sat Nav versions as unit is in boot. Also Suits Mini One but do check the connector type! (Some use SOT-060). Also 2006> Skoda Octavia but a separate ignition is required. Also suits Audi cars with RNS-E DVD Sat Nav.
N.B. 2005 onwards BMW cars do not have an ignition switched live on the rear of the radio, this must be sourced separately!
VW cars may require swapping of the red and orange wires down at the fuse blocks on the Parrot loom. Not all VW cars have an ignition switched live at the rear of the stereo, if you find this to be the case you will have to isolate the orange ignition wire on the Parrot kits loom from the head unit and extend it to a suitable switched live ignition source at the fuse box.
You should not require a radio code when installing this product on BMW cars!
