Just to show you that it is not only new cars we do, we have included this picture of an old Renault 25 which we carried out a 'Basic' Nokia CARK-91 handsfree car phone kit installation into in 2001.
The handset cradle was screwed into the left hand side of the centre console fascia using the swivel bracket supplied with the car kit. The kits speaker was also used and was mounted in the passenger foot well area. There was no mute facility at the rear of the stereo head unit which is quite common on older or base model cars.
The microphone was mounted in a central position on the roof lining and the cable neatly routed beneath the head cloth. A Panorama Glassmount antenna was fitted to the rear windscreen.
