An "Executive" installation of the Nokia CARK-91 Hands Free car phone kit into a Renault laguna II 2005 model with Sat Nav.
The Nokia CARK-91 cradle was mounted on a custom made, colour coded, leather phone pod.
An Autoleads Cellular Telemute Interface lead 06-051B was used to route the audio through the car stereo system, this was possible as 2004> Renault cars have reverted back to the Standard ISO format with ignition sensing. Audio comes through both front speakers with this setup and "MUTE" is displayed on the head up display during a call
The Nokia HFM-8 mic was mounted up beside the centre light with the cable neatly routed beneath the headlining.
Most 2001 onwards Renault cars come with a factory fitted "Sharks Fin" body mount antenna at the rear of the roof, and the cable is hidden behind the head unit. This particular car did not have this fitted so we installed a DG T bar antenna on the dotted area above the rear view mirror which is not affected by the heat reflective coating on the windscreen.
