We do appreciate that not everyone is Technically minded. We do however, provide FREE technical support on any products that we supply to customers who wish to carry out the installation themselves.
N.B. You would be expected to have some technical knowledge yourself, we will not supply a complete A-Z of how to install your car kit, but we will offer assistance where appropriate should you get stuck. Please ensure you have all your vehicle and car kit details to hand when getting in touch with us and a 12 volt automotive test lamp or multimeter available for testing and configuration purposes.
If you are in any doubt about your own ability to install any of the products available from the online shop, you should always get a professional Installation company or Auto electrician to do the job for you!
If you are not a Technically minded person we do have an Installation Service .
The Motorola M8989 Fixed hands free car phone kit is normally fitted to fleet vehicles such as lorries and vans.
The kit supports audio muting and auto power down as standard but again requires an adapter lead for use with an Autolead on 12 volts systems only! A voltage dropper is required for 24 volt systems.
The handset hang cup can be mounted on a flat surface or a Dashmount or similar bracket.
There is facility for an external vehicle antenna which is of the mini UHF type.
