The remote button was mounted to the right of the radio at the customers request and the cable tucked neatly between the centre console fascia and the dash.

An Autoleads Cellular Telemute Interface lead part number 06-059B and an HCB-30 adaptor 06-215B was used to mute the stereo and route the audio through the cars front two speakers. As the Sony HCB-30 is a bluetooth kit, it is essential that the ignition sense feature is utillised! This is to enable the automatic "Handshake" protocol when you get into the car with your phone. As all new Mercedes do not have an ignition sense at the rear of the head unit the ignition sensing power was taken from the glove box light and fed into the Telemute lead.

The microphone was mounted near the interior light and the cable neatly routed under the headlining.
