A "Premium" installation of a Nokia CARK-91 handsfree car phone kit in a 2002 model Mercedes Benz C-Class W202 with an Audio 10 head unit .
The Nokia cradle was mounted on a Smartclip vent mount bracket (Similar to the Brodit Proclip) as the customer wished to phone to be at eye level. This does mean however, that more cradle cable is showing than the console mount option we typically use.
An Autoleads Cellular Telemute Interface lead part number 06-059B was used to mute the stereo and route the audio through the cars front two speakers. As all new Mercedes do not have an ignition sense at the rear of the head unit the ignition sensing power was taken from the glove box light and fed into the Telemute lead.
The Nokia HFM-8 microphone was mounted near the interior light and the cable neatly routed under the headlining.
A DG Glassmount antenna was mounted to the top dead centre of the rear screen.
