This is a"Premium" Nokia CK-7W Bluetooth handsfree car phone kit installation into a 2004 model Mercedes C Class W203 model.

The MBC-15S cradle and AXF-15S antenna coupler was mounted on a Dashmount console bracket and the cradle cable was tucked neatly between the centre console trim and the dash. The Nokia remote button was mounted to the right of the centre console trim.

An Autoleads Cellular Telemute Interface lead part number 06-059B and 06-208B adaptor was used to mute the stereo and route the audio through the cars front two speakers. We did have to run a separate ignition feed to the glove box light as this is not available from the rear of the radio.

The new style Nokia microphone was mounted near the interior light and the cable neatly routed under the headlining.

A DG Systems quarter wave Glassmount antenna was fitted to the rear windscreen, we normally only fit a Glassmount, bodymount or bumper mount antenna to this vehicle. Mercedes GB do not like the use of covert screen mounted antennas so always check with your dealer to see if they would invalidate the warranty fitting one of these types of antennas. We have however, had no problems using tax disc antennas on Mercedes cars whatsoever.
