This is a "Premium" Nokia 610 Bluetooth car phone kit installation into a 2004 Mazda RX8 with a Bose amplified Sat Nav head unit.

The Nokia 610 display screen was concealed in the ashtray as the customer was a non smoker and wanted as covert an installation as possible. After some modifications to the ashtray insert, the display was concealed when the ashtray cover was closed. The remote control button was mounted on the centre console panel

An Autoleads Cellular Telemute Interface lead the 06-042B and 06-208B adaptor was used to route the audio through the car stereo system, the radio does not display anything during a call. The phones audio volume is controlled via the handset remote button.

The Nokia HFM-8 mic was mounted up by the interior light and the cable neatly routed under the headlining.

A Panorama Strip type antenna was used for a more covert installation.
