This is a "Premium" Parrot 3200LS Colour Bluetooth handsfree car phone kit installation into a 2006 model Mazda 62.3 MPS Sport 4wd with a Bose Amplified stereo system.
Due to the one piece plastic nature of the dash on the new Mazda 6, and the shape of it with minimal flat places to mount the screen, we ended up customising an Audi A4 Dashmount console bracket and using that to mount the screen on. As the top half of the dash is soft and foam backed, this means it won't cut through the cable. We had looked at mounting it down by the gear lever as there is a nice flat spot on there and the cable can tuck behind the gear lever boot, unfortunately due to light reflection, the customer couldn't see the screen in this position.
An Autoleads Cellular Telemute Interface lead the 06-042NB was used to route the audio through the Bose car stereo system, 55 plate onwards Mazda cars do not have a mute and so the 06-042NB lead must be used instead of the 06-042B. We also had to use an adaptor lead for the Parrot 3200LS kit the 06-426B. The phones audio volume is controlled via the parrot remote display.
The Parrot kit's mic was mounted up by the interior light and the cable neatly routed under the headlining.
