A "Premium" installation of the HCA-20 Sony Ericsson hands free car phone kit for the T28 in a Lexus IS200 2000 model.
The cradle was mounted on a Smartclip (similar to Brodit) air vent bracket as the customer requested the phone should be at eye level. Whilst a good mounting position it is more difficult to make a good job of hiding the cradle cable using this bracket option. A Dashmount console bracket is also available for this car and is our preferred option for mounting the cradle.
A Toyota Autolead 06-062B and 06-201B adaptor was used for through stereo operation, this is not possible on later models due to Toyota/Lexus changing the connector type used in late 2000. The microphone was mounted centrally next to the interior mirror and the cable routed neatly behind the head cloth.
A Panorama Glassmount antenna was fitted to the rear windscreen.
