A "Premium" installation of the Sony Ericsson HCA-20 Hands Free car phone kit for the T610 in a Jaguar X-Type 2003 model.
The Sony Ericsson T610 cradle was mounted on a colour coded leather phone pod. You can also get a Dashmount bracket as well for this vehicle
An Autoleads Cellular Telemute Interface lead the 06-082B was used to route the audio through the car stereo system, the Jaguar does not have a mute on the radio and this lead was chosen instead of the 06-079B as it mutes the sound rather than having to make the stereo switch off during a call, as the kit was a Sony Ericsson HCA-20 we also had to use an adaptor lead the 06-209B. The phones audio volume is controlled directly via the handset.
It is not possible to make the kit interface with the remote steering wheel controls or the factory radio phone buttons unless you get a Genuine Jaguar car kit installed at you local dealership which can run into many hundreds of pounds.
The Sony mic was mounted up by the interior light and the cable neatly routed under the headlining.
To make this a really neat installation we used a Panorama Tax Disc type antenna on the front windscreen.
