This is a "Premium" THB Bury System 8 DriveTalk handsfree car phone kit installation into a 2004 model Ford Mondeo with a Ford 6000 factory fitted head unit.
The THB Bury System 8 Nokia 3410 Take & Talk cradle was mounted on a Smartclip vent bracket as the customer did not want to obstruct his cup holder and preferred the cradle at eye level. Dashmount and Brodit also offer brackets that mount in this position.
An Autoleads Cellular Telemute Interface lead the 06-092B was used to route the audio through the car stereo system, the Ford 6000 radio displays "PHONE" during a call, as the kit was a THB Bury one we also had to use an adaptor lead the 06-200B. The phones audio volume is controlled directly via the handset.
The THB mic was mounted up by the interior light and the cable neatly routed under the headlining. A DG-542-F flexible Tax Disc type antenna was used for a more covert installation.
