This was a "Premium" Nokia 610 bluetooth handsfree car phone kit installation in a 2003 model Chrysler Voyager with Infinity stereo system.
The Nokia 610 remote display was mounted at the top right of the centre console. The bracket is designed to be screwed onto the top of the dash, but as it is very light, we secured it with Velcro to avoid damage to the console.
This kit comes with a remote control button called a Navi Wheel™, this was located at the customers request, to the right of the stereo.
The Nokia 610 bluetooth car phone kits audio was routed through the stereo using an Autoleads Cellular Telemute Interface lead part number 06-086B as this was a new Nokia kit we also had to use a 06-208B Nokia adaptor. We have only recently discovered that it is possible to integrate with amplified Infinity sound systems on later model cars. This car had an Infinity amplified system fitted.
The microphone was mounted up beside the centre light and the cable was neatly routed beneath the headlining.
Unlike other bluetooth car phone kits the Nokia 610 supports an external antenna, on this occasion a Panorama strip type antenna was used .
