We do appreciate that not everyone is Technically minded. We do however, provide FREE technical support on any products that we supply to customers who wish to carry out the installation themselves.
N.B. You would be expected to have some technical knowledge yourself, we will not supply a complete A-Z of how to install your car kit, but we will offer assistance where appropriate should you get stuck. Please ensure you have all your vehicle and car kit details to hand when getting in touch with us and a 12 volt automotive test lamp or multimeter available for testing and configuration purposes.
If you are in any doubt about your own ability to install any of the products available from the online shop, you should always get a professional Installation company or Auto electrician to do the job for you!
If you are not a Technically minded person we do have an Installation Service .
The Nokia CARK-132 handsfree car phone kit is for the Nokia 6510 and 8310 Handsets.
As is standard with all "Pro" Nokia Kits the kit has a separate mic, speaker, handset cradle, junction box and wiring loom. An external antenna is not included with this kit and can be purchased separately in our online shop. The connection for the antenna is of the standard female FME type.
A Dashmount or similar "No Holes" mounting bracket is advised for mounting the handset cradle onto.
It is also possible to route the audio through the cars stereo system with the addition of an Autoleads Cellular Telemute Interface lead ,but as with all Nokia kits, a mute wire is incorporated into the wiring loom (Provided your car stereo Head unit supports this feature!).
N.B. Due to the Passive nature of the antenna on this car kit you might get interference on certain types of car stereo e.g. VW Gamma headunit and there is are different Autoleads Telemute leads available for some types of head unit to avoid this problem.
