Executive Nokia CK-7W car phone kit installed in a 2005 model BMW X5

This is an "Executive" Nokia CK-7W Bluetooth handsfree car phone kit installation into a 2005 model BMW X5 with a standard BMW Sat Nav head unit.

The Nokia MBC-15S cradle and AXF-15S antenna coupler were mounted on a custom made colour coded leather phone pod to the left of the centre console.

Although we had been advised by Autoleads that it was possible to hardwire the kits audio through the stereo system, we found that we could only mute the system and so the Nokia speaker had to be fitted and was concealed behind the centre console trim.

The Nokia HFM-8 mic was mounted up by the interior light and the cable neatly routed under the headlining.

A DG Flexi Tax disc type antenna was used for a more covert installation.
