This is a "Premium" Parrot CK3100 Bluetooth handsfree car phone kit installation into a 2005 model BMW 3 series E46 with a standard Business head unit.
After some discussion with the customer, we decided to mount the Parrot CK3100 LCD remote display screen to the left of the stereo, this allows us to make a really neat job of hiding the cradle's cables.
An Autoleads Parrot adaptor lead the SOT-060 was used to route the audio through the car stereo system. With a small modification you can make the head unit display PHONE during a call. This setup does not allow you to use any of the BMW factory fitted steering wheel remotes. Car kit volume is controlled directly via the handset.
The Parrot mic was mounted up by the interior light and the cable neatly routed under the headlining.
No additional brackets were used on this installation, we mounted the unit using one of the brackets supplied with the kit.
