THB Bury kit on Tunnel Smartclip in BMW 3 series
A THB Bury Classic Nokia 6210 handsfree car phone kit pictured above with a the cradle mounted on Smartclip Tunnel mount Bracket. Notice the coiled cord on the handset cradle! This kit allows the cradle to be unhooked for private calls when stationary. Apologies about the picture quality, these images were taken before we had our new digital camera.

This was a "Premium" installation of a THB Bury Classic car phone kit for the Nokia 6210 in a BMW 3 Series E46.

We used an Autoleads 06-060B Telemute Interface lead and also an Adaptor for the THB kit to mute the stereo and redirect the sound through the vehicles own two front stereo speakers. A Smartclip tunnel bracket was used to mount the THB cradle onto to avoid making screw holes.

It must be noted that the Autoleads Telemute Interface lead we used on this installation does not utilise the BMW steering wheel phone controls nor does it display the caller ID on the radio!

BMW do recommend that either a Bodymount, Bumpermount or Glassmount antenna is used but we have had no issues using a covert Tax disc type antenna on these vehicles. If in doubt, ask your local dealer if fitting such an antenna will invalidate the manufacturers warranty.

The microphone was mounted up by the centre light at the top of the windscreen area and the cable neatly routed away.
