This was a "Premium" THB Bury Drive Talk System 8 Nokia 6310i handsfree car phone kit installation in a BMW Mini.
The THB Take & Talk cradle for the Nokia 6310i was mounted on a Dashmount console bracket. We did not need to use the THB AHL-10 extension mounting plate on this occasion.
The THB Bury System 8 car phone kits audio was routed through the stereo using an Autoleads Cellular Telemute Interface lead part number PC6-076B , as this was a THB Bury kit we also had to use a PC6-200B Bury adaptor. Some Minis are also fitted with the earlier BMW 17 way round pin type plugs on the stereo, we always take both types out as you never know what has been fitted until you remove the radio. The alternate lead is the PC6-060B. The radio displays "PHONE" during a call.
The microphone was mounted up beside the clock binnacle and the cable was neatly routed beneath the headlining.
For a neater more covert installation a Panorama Tax Disc antenna was used.
