A 2001 model Audi A4 Nokia CARK-91 Car Phone kit Installation by Sio Communications

Pictured above is a Nokia CARK-91 handsfree car phone kit mounted on a Dashmount console bracket and a 6210 handset sitting in the cradle. Apologies about the picture quality, these images were taken before we had our new digital camera.

A "Premium" installation of a Nokia CARK-91 Hands Free car phone kit into a 2001 model Audi A4 with Concert stereo system.

The cradle was mounted on a Dashmount console bracket at the left of the Concert model car stereo.

There are two different Autoleads Telemute leads for the Audi A4 depending on whether it was manufactured before or after 2001. Whilst there is a mute facility at the rear of the head unit, it cannot be used on 2001> cars without a lead as the 10 pin ISO plug slot is usually vacant, hence there is nothing to put the mute wire into!

We use tax disc antennas for all Audi A4's to avoid complications with the side air bags and radio antenna, which, is part of the heated rear screen uppermost elements. The microphone was fitted centrally next to the interior light.
