Premium Nokia CARK-91 car phone kit installed in an Audi A4 2003 model

This is a "Premium" Nokia CARK-91 handsfree car phone kit installed into a 2003 model Audi A4 with a Symphony II head unit.

The Nokia cradle was mounted on a Dashmount console mount bracket. This does however obstruct use of the cup holder!

We routed the audio through the stereo using an 06-118B Telemute lead, "PHONE" is displayed on the radio and the HUD between the rev counter and speedo displays during a call.On this particular Symphony II unit we also had to add a 5k resistor on the speaker output from the kit to avoid distortion of sound.

We used a Panorama tax disc type antenna for a more covert and tidy installation.

The microphone was mounted next to the interior light with the cable neatly routed beneath the headlining.
