Nokia 6090 car phone kit Installation
Your Nokia 6090 fixed phone car kit will fit conveniently in your vehicle. Its 5 metre long system cable makes it possible to locate the transceiver unit anywhere in the passenger compartment, or even in the boot. The kit comes with it's own mic, speaker, hang cup, handset and has facilities for radio muting provided your head unit supports this feature.
Professional installation is recommended!
Other equipment needed
An external antenna is needed to operate the Nokia 6090. An antenna which uses a Mini UHF type connector is not included in the Nokia 6090 sales package because there are many antenna types and brands available on the market. Why not take a look at the Antenna Section of the online shop for more details?
If you are mounting the kit in a commercial vehicle using a 24 volt battery system you will also require a 24 volt to 12 volt voltage dropper pictured on the right!
Vehicle Types
These kits are typically only installed into Lorries and Vans due to the bulky nature of the handset and the length of wiring loom that comes with it, although, we have installed these kits into Estate cars and 4X4 vehicles.

We do appreciate that not everyone is Technically minded. We do however, provide FREE technical support on any products that we supply to customers who wish to carry out the installation themselves.
N.B. You would be expected to have some technical knowledge yourself, we will not supply a complete A-Z of how to install your car kit, but we will offer assistance where appropriate should you get stuck. Please ensure you have all your vehicle and car kit details to hand when getting in touch with us and a 12 volt automotive test lamp or multimeter available for testing and configuration purposes.
If you are in any doubt about your own ability to install any of the products available from the online shop, you should always get a professional Installation company or Auto electrician to do the job for you!
If you are not a Technically minded person we do have an Installation Service .
