This New lead was released for 2003 onwards (cars without unclippable cup holder in centre console is the easiest way to tell) which now have a large VDA interface plug behind the rear ashtray on the centre console.
After unclipping the rearward ashtray you should be able to put your fingers in and pull out the wire bundle within, usually a smaller 18 pin VDA socket pops out first, keep pulling, as it is the larger plug you require to connect the kit to. Lead includes an inline 10k resistor to avoid audio distortion, this plugs inline on the bulleted connectors provided on the speaker output wires on the telemute lead.
