Cellular Telemute leads are used when installing an aftermarket hands free car phone kit. Once installed the lead will mute your head unit and redirect the call through the vehicles front speakers. This Autoleads Telemute lead is now terminated with the NEW Nokia 4 pin Molex power plug as used by the CK-7W. If using another make of handsfree car kit you will require an Adaptor Lead for converting the Autoleads Telemute lead without chopping the wires and invalidating it's warranty. These leads supply your hands free car kit with power as well so you that you do not have to run cables directly to your cars battery.

This lead is suitable for 12 volt negative earth systems only!
All Autoleads products should be Installed by a suitably qualified technician. We will not be held responsible for damage to the vehicles electrical system due to incorrect installation or misuse of the product.

This lead is designed to work only with Land Rover Discovery cars manufactured after 2004 and Range Rover Sport cars manufactured after 2005 with Standard or Amplified Harmon Kardon or Logic 7 stereo systems.
This lead does not integrate with the Factory radio or steering wheel phone controls! This is only available as a Land Rover Factory or Retro fitted installation.
These cars have dropped the ignition switched live feed at the rear of the stereo in favour of the new CAN BUS system. This means that you will have to run a separate ignition switched live to the cigar lighter feed on these cars if installing a kit such as a bluetooth one that requires an ignition switched power feed.
The mute and tel + and tel - input wires require manual connection into the smaller of the two plugs and battery power and earth are taken from the larger plug pictured below. Care must be taken when refitting stereo so that you do not kink the fibre optic cables!
The radio displays "Phone Mode" when a call is in progress and the volume is adjustable either via the radio volume control or the steering remotes if fitted.
