This lead is already configured to use the radio mute feature during a call. Allows volume control via steering wheel remote buttons but it requires the ignition key switched on in order to function. If you have the pre wired 18 pin VDA telephone loom as fitted to a lot of Vauxhall cars behind the glove box you will require the 06-102B. For Pre Wired Sat Nav and Bose head units will require an 06-109B as this has an electronic filter fitted to the audio input wires of the Telemute lead to save distortion of audio.
The 06-122B lead is currently suitable for Direct Audio input on DABS units but Sat Nav head units will require manual fitment of an 06-212B electronic filter on the speaker output wires from the kit!
On 2004> Vauxhall cars there is no longer an ignition switched live at the rear of the stereo as it is now CAN BUS controlled, this means that you will have to source your own ignition switched live supply to tap into and connect to the blue wire provided on the lead. On Vectra cars this can be taken from the cigarette lighter socket, on the Astra it can be taken from the black wire (check 1st) on the rear of the hazard warning light switch as the cigarette lighter is constantly powered on these vehicles (Trim removal is required on the Astra).

Cellular Telemute leads are used when installing an aftermarket hands free car phone kit. Once installed the lead will mute your head unit and redirect the call through the vehicles front speakers. If using another make of handsfree car kit you will require an Adaptor Lead for converting the Autoleads Telemute lead without chopping the wires and invalidating it's warranty. The 06-122B Telemute lead from Autoleads Is a Vehicle specific connector type lead that does require you to manually wire in an ignition supply. It will display "PHONE" or "MESSAGE" on the vehicle's HUD during a telephone call. You will get crystal clear audio reproduction through the vehicles own front two speakers.
This lead is suitable for 12 volt negative earth systems only!
