All of the above listings relate to the Standard factory fitted Concert, Chorus or Symphony Radio. This lead is not suitable for aftermarket accessory stereos such as Sony, Kenwood e.t.c. You will require a radio code and special radio removal keys to remove the stereo - PC5-132 available from the online shop.

Cellular Telemute leads are used when installing an aftermarket hands free car phone kit. Once installed the lead will mute your head unit and redirect the call through the vehicles front speakers. All of the Autoleads Telemute leads are terminated with the standard Nokia 6 pin Molex power plug. If using another make of handsfree car kit you will require an Adaptor Lead for converting the Autoleads Telemute lead without chopping the wires and invalidating it's warranty. These leads supply your hands free car kit with power as well so you that you do not have to run cables directly to your cars battery.

The 06-119B Telemute lead from Autoleads Is a Audi Only Speaker and Mute only lead. You will get crystal clear audio reproduction through the vehicles own front two speakers .
This lead is suitable for 12 volt negative earth systems only!
All Autoleads products should be Installed by a suitably qualified technician. We will not be held responsible for damage to the vehicles electrical system due to incorrect installation or misuse of the product.

This lead does not supply any power requirements for your car kit. It has been introduced as there are Issues with some Symphony II units fitted to Audi A6's built after 2002 and also other Audi's built after 2003. Supplied with approx. 1 metre of speaker and mute wire the lead is designed for Audio and mute input only. You will have to hardwire the power connections direct and not to the stereo as taking the power from the stereo is what causes the problems in the first place. Not ideally suited for Sat Nav units unless you want to unpin the connectors with a small pin or watchmakers screwdriver and insert them manually.

On Audi A3, A4 and A6 vehicles manufactured typically during 2003 until the Quadlok was introduced in late 2004 with Symphony II head units the following applies.
If the radio pin-out label on top of the set has the Tel- and Tel+ positions actually printed on the label the 06-119B can be used without any alterations.
If the radio pin-out label only shows the Nav- and Nav+ and does not actually have the Tel- and Tel+ printed on the label then the following applies -
You will have to solder a 5k resistor inline on the speaker positive wire of the 06-119B, this wire is the one with the white stripe through it. This is required to reduce the audio input to acceptable levels. We can do this for you on request but please allow time for this to be done, it will delay shipping of your order. This also applies to Bose units.
