This lead is designed to be "Plug and Play" with all Ford Fiesta cars made from 2002-2006. Land Rover Freelander cars manufactured after 2004 can also use this lead. The V2 06-018 relay module on this lead has no requirement for a mute as this is all done internally in the module. Freelander cars with standard head unit's do not have a mute available on the radio and so this lead should be used.
N.B. Stereo removal is very difficult on the 2002> Ford Fiesta. It is possible however, to access the plug on the rear of the stereo by removing the glovebox to gain access, but is is tight for space. This has been covered briefly on the Tech Forum see HERE.
