Always check that the red wire that goes to the car kit is always 12 volt live and that the blue wire switches on and of with the ignition key! If it is the wrong way round swap the connections at the fuse connectors. Failure to check this may result in a flat vehicle battery after a period of around 48 hours. This is due to the car having an active speaker system and incorrect configuration leaves them powered on even when the radio is off and the keys are out of the Ignition. Do not use the optional mute wire on cars after 2002, especially Passat's, this can lead to a voltage drain from the battery!

The GAMMA (Noise Free) Telemute Interface lead is designed only to fit the vehicles listed below that have a non amplified GAMMA or BETA head unit fitted. This lead may require some configuration of bullet connectors.
This lead is suitable for phones that use a passive antenna connection such as the Nokia CARK-126, CARK-128, CARK-132 or CK-7W. If you wish to use one of the phones listed above you will require this lead but the audio volume must be adjusted via the phone itself and not through the stereo.This lead does not display "PHONE" during a call or pause the CD Player.

Cellular Telemute leads are used when installing an aftermarket hands free car phone kit. Once installed the lead will mute your head unit and redirect the call through the vehicles front speakers. This Autoleads Telemute lead is now terminated with the NEW Nokia 4 pin Molex power plug as used by the CK-7W. If using another make of handsfree car kit you will require an Adaptor Lead for converting the Autoleads Telemute lead without chopping the wires and invalidating it's warranty. These leads supply your hands free car kit with power as well so you that you do not have to run cables directly to your cars battery.

The 06-083B Telemute lead from Autoleads Is a Vehicle specific ISO connector type lead that does not require or use the mute position on the rear of your head unit. The version 2 type relay fitted to this lead will automatically mute all of the cars speakers during a call. This lead enables crystal clear audio reproduction through the vehicles own front two speakers.
This lead is suitable for 12 volt negative earth systems only!
