This lead can use a mute which is present on some of the newer cars like the X-Trail, this must be tapped into the pink mute wire on the lead which is pre configured for some vehicle types, but on the X-Trail, it is in a different position, we will add more info when we have it on the exact mute pin position. Where there is no mute available you can also configure the lead to switch the head unit off during a call.

This is based on the car still being fitted with the original Nissan head unit, cars fitted with aftermarket stereos will most likely need the 06-050B.
This lead is not suitable for some of the Latest Nissan 2004 onwards cars with the new 2 plug setup!
For 2004> cars with integrated VDA phone wiring harness you will require the 06-117B instead. For direct audio input on 2004> cars there is a new lead the 06-096B.
Cellular Telemute leads are used when installing an aftermarket hands free car phone kit. Once installed the lead will mute your head unit and redirect the call through the vehicles front speakers. All of the Autoleads Telemute leads are terminated with the standard Nokia 6 pin Molex power plug. If using another make of handsfree car kit you will require an Adaptor Lead for converting the Autoleads Telemute lead without chopping the wires and invalidating it's warranty. These leads supply your hands free car kit with power as well so you that you do not have to run cables directly to your cars battery.

The 06-075B Telemute lead from Autoleads Is a Vehicle specific connector type lead that can be configured to switch radio off during a call if there is no mute position. You will get crystal clear audio reproduction through the vehicles own front two speakers.
