This lead is designed to work with Volvo head units that have the green power and grey speaker plugs at the rear of the stereo. Earlier head units that have a release tab at either side, typically have a mute and the lead can be configured to use this feature. The later wedge shaped stereo's do not have a mute and the red switched live lead must be swapped with the one already connected to make the stereo switch off during a call. On Dolby Pro Logic stereo's the Grey speaker plugs are located to the far right of the radio opening covered in foam tape.

Cellular Telemute leads are used when installing an aftermarket hands free car phone kit. Once installed the lead will mute your head unit and redirect the call through the vehicles front speakers. All of the Autoleads Telemute leads are terminated with the standard Nokia 6 pin Molex power plug. If using another make of handsfree car kit you will require an Adaptor Lead for converting the Autoleads Telemute lead without chopping the wires and invalidating it's warranty. These leads supply your hands free car kit with power as well so you that you do not have to run cables directly to your cars battery.

The 06-073B Telemute lead from Autoleads Is a Vehicle Specific type lead that does require some configuration of the mute or switched live bullet connections depending on stereo type. You will get crystal clear audio reproduction through the vehicles own front two speakers.
This lead is suitable for 12 volt negative earth systems only!
