This lead was released primarily for cars with factory fitted satellite Navigation but it can also be used on standard head units as well. This is very handy if you have an earlier model car that has no mute on the radio, or if you are unable to locate the mute. The V2 06-018 type module mutes the sound from all the speakers without the need for a mute connection.

This is provided the standard Toyota head unit has been fitted and has not had an ISO lead conversion for Pioneer, Sony, Kenwood or other aftermarket accessory head units fitted. If this has been done you may require a 06-050B
Not Suitable for Amplified Systems!
Cellular Telemute leads are used when installing an aftermarket hands free car phone kit. Once installed the lead will mute your head unit and redirect the call through the vehicles front speakers. This Autoleads Telemute lead is now terminated with the NEW Nokia 4 pin Molex power plug as used by the CK-7W. If using another make of handsfree car kit you will require an Adaptor Lead for converting the Autoleads Telemute lead without chopping the wires and invalidating it's warranty. These leads supply your hands free car kit with power as well so you that you do not have to run cables directly to your cars battery.

The 06-062B Telemute lead from Autoleads Is a Vehicle specific connector type which has a 06-018 type relay which automatically mutes the sound from the radio. You will get crystal clear audio reproduction through the vehicles own front two speakers.
This lead is suitable for 12 volt negative earth systems only!
