Cellular Telemute leads are used when installing an aftermarket hands free car phone kit. Once installed the lead will mute your head unit and redirect the call through the vehicles front speakers. All of the Autoleads Telemute leads are terminated with the standard Nokia 6 pin Molex power plug. If using another make of handsfree car kit you will require an Adaptor Lead for converting the Autoleads Telemute lead without chopping the wires and invalidating it's warranty. These leads supply your hands free car kit with power as well so you that you do not have to run cables directly to your cars battery.

The 06-053B Telemute lead from Autoleads Is a Vehicle specific connector type lead that can be configured to switch radio off during a call if there is no mute position. You will get crystal clear audio reproduction through the vehicles own front two speakers.
This lead is suitable for 12 volt negative earth systems only!
All Autoleads products should be Installed by a suitably qualified technician. We will not be held responsible for damage to the vehicles electrical system due to incorrect installation or misuse of the product.

If you have the pre wired telephone loom as fitted to a lot of Vauxhall cars you will require the 06-102RB instead. The 06-053B which is a full audio divert type lead must be used on stereo models lower than 500, the lead will transfer audio whether the ignition is on or off. The 06-094B is a direct audio input lead and is only suitable for head unit models of 500 or above but you will require the ignition on to hear the phone's audio with the 06-094B. This lead can be configured to use the mute on some vehicles or the switching off method. The reason that Autoleads have opted to use the switching the stereo off method is that on some Astra and Vectra cars there can be problems with the central locking if the mute is used. Always check central locking operation after fitting this lead and configuring for the mute function which is not recommended.
